Intramural Sports
The intramural sports program at the Baptist University of Florida exists to glorify God and enhance the mission of BUF by providing healthy recreational opportunities for all eligible participants and promoting the following ideals within a Biblical framework:
- Healthy, active, God-honoring lifestyle
- Social interaction
- Leadership
- Teamwork
- Personal achievement/improvement
The intramural sports program at BUF provides for co-ed competition. The team captain and student athletic director provide leadership positions for student development of life skills. All students are encouraged to participate as much as they are able. If you don't play sports, you can still go and support your friends and favorite team.
The foundation of all intramural activities, competitive or not, is participation, health and wellness, fun, respect, and relationship building. Sports offer the opportunity to interact with others in the unique setting of physical activity. The intramural sports program consists of both team and individual sports meant to encourage and develop a God-honoring lifestyle of healthy activity.
