Insurance as a Student-Athlete at Baptist University of Florida

All BUF student-athletes are required to be covered under a health insurance policy of their own or through the policy of a parent and/or legal guardian, and are required to report this to the University through documentation provided by the Student Life Office or the BUF Team Doctor, in the case of a student-athlete. It is the responsibility of the student to notify the University or the BUF Team Doctor if your insurance coverage has been dropped or changed during the year.

As part of your required student fees, basic student accidental insurance coverage is now provided to all BUF students. The student accident insurance will only be applied after the primary health insurance provider has been billed.
