Event Supplies:
- There is taping area in the BUF Athletic Training Room. Taping supplies will not be provided by BUF, please send a stocked kit.
- Ice for injuries will be provided by the BUF Team Doctor or Assisting Medical Staff, as well as bags and wrap.
- AED (Athletic Director’s Office for indoor events or with Team Doctor for outdoor events)
- 10 gal. coolers and cups on the end of the bench in the gym or in the baseball/softball dugout
Facilities:
The Athletic Training room is in the Wellness Center Gym, near the Women’s Volleyball Locker Room. The athletic training room will be closed 15 minutes prior to warm-up and will close approximately 30 minutes after on-campus events.
Visiting Team Injuries:
It is the responsibility of the visiting team to transport the injured student-athlete to the hospital or urgent care. Otherwise, EMS will be activated to transport.
Services:
Student-athletes requesting to be taped must bring sufficient supplies. Please send an email ahead of time to make arrangements if there are not medical personnel traveling with your team. A list of those who need to be taped must be provided ahead of time to ensure enough time is available.
