The BUF Athletic department would like to recognize Gabe Pearson.

Pearson grew up in Enterprise, Alabama. He is a junior in the classroom and majoring in history. His plan after college is to continue his education and become a teacher. In middle and high school Pearson did not participate in cross country but he ran a lot on his own, making the decision after high school graduation to try and pursue cross country at the next level. He ran for 2 years in Alabama before transferring to BUF. 

This past week Pearson ran a time in the 8k that qualifies him to run in Missouri for the NCCAA Division II Nationals. The BUF athletic department would like to congratulate him for becoming the 1^st in the history of our school to do such!
