Friday night, April 24th, BUF began a 3-game series against regional opponent Southeastern Baptist College.
Game 1
After 3 innings, BUF down 0-2, flipped the script.
Bryan Calderon was walked to start the inning, then moved to 2nd with a hit from
Adam Geiger, and advanced to 3rd on a fielder's choice. He scored on an error to get the Eagles on the board.
Tucker Nix, who reached on the fielder's choice, scored after a single from catcher
Taivyn Anderson.
Korbin Odom, who reached on an error, was brought in by a double from
Evan Wallace to give BUF a 3-2 lead.
In the 5th inning, BUF extended the lead. Calderon singled and Geiger walked, setting up
Quinton Renfroe with 2 men on. He launched a home run to center, his 2nd of the season, making it 6-2 BUF. SBC scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to tighten the score, but in the top of the 7th, Anderson drove in Renfroe to push the lead back to 3.
SBC added 2 more runs in the bottom of the 7th, but BUF answered with 1 run in the 8th, as
Quincy McFadden was driven in by Calderon, and 2 more in the 9th, with McFadden driving in Odom and Wallace. BUF won 10-6.

Game 2
Back for a doubleheader on Saturday, BUF picked up where they left off. Wallace singled to start the game, and
Ivan Membreno, batting 3rd, walked. Calderon, hitting cleanup, drove a line drive to center, bringing in Wallace and moving Membreno to 3rd. Adam Gieger followed with a single to right to score Membreno, giving BUF a 2-0 lead.
In the 2nd inning, SBC scored 3 runs to take a 3-2 lead. However, in the top of the 3rd, Calderon hit a solo home run, his team-leading 6
th, to tie the game at 3-3.
In the 5th inning, BUF scored 5 runs to take an 8-3 lead. McFadden led off with a double and scored on a wild pitch. Membreno walked and later scored on a Calderon double. Gieger singled, Calderon scored on a wild pitch, and Geiger advanced on errors before scoring on a passed ball. Anderson came in to run and later scored on a Wallace double.
SBC threatened late, but BUF held on to win 8-7. In the bottom of the 7th, SBC had runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs.
Trevor Land, who was pitching, struck out the final batter on a full count to secure the win.

Game 3
Quinton Renfroe started for BUF and threw a complete game, allowing just 3 hits and 0 earned runs. The lone unearned run came in the 1st inning, after which BUF scored 15 unanswered runs to win 15-1.
In the 2nd inning,
Cale Barnes, starting at 1st base, walked and later scored on a single by
Phillip Bearden. In the 3rd, Fredreck De La Rosa led off with a solo home run to give BUF the lead.
In the 4th, SBC attempted to pick off De La Rosa at 1st, and Anderson took advantage by stealing home. In the 5th, BUF added 3 runs. Calderon doubled to lead off, continuing his big weekend, and
Connor Ward drove him in with a double.
Zane Alford reached on a base hit and scored on an RBI single by Bearden.
Torin Clark-Hussey scored the final run of the inning on a wild pitch, making it 6-1.
BUF added 3 more in the 6th. De La Rosa reached on an error, Membreno bunted and reached, and Calderon launched his 2nd home run of the game—a 3-run shot—to give BUF a 9-1 lead.
In the final inning, BUF scored 6 runs to seal a 15-1 victory. Coach Albury gave several regular pitchers at-bats, including
Austin Emmons,
Jacob Pascoe,
Jackson Roberts, and
Juan Arellano. Emmons drove in a run with a ground ball up the middle, and Pascoe earned an RBI after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
