Box Score 2 Tuesday, April 28, BUF headed to United States Sports University (USSU) for its last games of the regular season.

Game 1
Xavier Taylor led off the game in the top of the 1st and, on the 3rd pitch, sent one into left field for a single. Taylor stole 2nd base and reached 3rd on a lineout.
Ivan Membreno followed in the lineup and hit a long ball to right for a sacrifice fly that scored Taylor.
Evan Wallace took the mound for BUF in this game and struck out 2 in the 1st inning, not allowing a hit. Wallace pitched a complete game, allowing only 5 hits and 1 run. In the 2nd inning,
Adam Geiger led off with a single to extend his hit streak to 9 games, and in the field he made a beautiful diving catch on a ball hit to right field. Later, in the 4th, Geiger made another great snag for the final out of the inning, and in the 6th he stole a base for his 7th of the season (4th on the team).
Earlier, in the 3rd, BUF continued the scoring. Xavior Taylor hit another line drive single, and then
Quincy McFadden followed with a ball to left that he beat out for a single. Taylor went to 3rd on a passed ball, and then it happened again, allowing him to score. McFadden was standing on 3rd base for Membreno's at-bat. Membreno hit a long fly ball to left field over the fence for a 2-run home run. BUF took a 4-0 lead in the 3rd inning.
USSU got 1 in the 5th, but in the top of the 7th, BUF added run support for Wallace, scoring 2 more runs.
Torin Clark-Hussey led off with a double to left field. Catcher
Taivyn Anderson was up next and hit a hard ground ball to left for a single;
Cooper Watkins came in as a courtesy runner. Membreno drove in Clark-Hussey on a base hit to right field, and
Bryan Calderon drove in Watkins on a sacrifice fly to left. Wallace ended it with a 3 up, 3 down inning, and BUF had now won 5 games in a row.

For Game 1,
Xavier Taylor went 3-2 with 2 runs and a stolen base (his 9th of the season, which is T2).
Ivan Membreno went 2-3 with 4 RBIs and 1 run.

Game 2
The script was flipped in this one, and USSU was up 10-0 after 3 innings. In the 5th, BUF scored 2.
Eli Albury led off the inning and got on base after an error.
Ashton Bailey was up next and singled to center field. Taylor came in as the courtesy runner for Bailey.
Evan Wallace, who was now in left field, had a base hit to load the bases for McFadden. He hit a sacrifice fly to center, and Albury scored, sliding headfirst into home. Membreno was up next, and he drove in Taylor. No other runs were scored, and this one ended 2-10.

For the regular season, BUF finished 19-19-1.
This marks the most wins yet by a team in the athletic program, with 11 wins in the region, the first team to reach double-digit regional wins. Next for the Eagles is the Regional Tournament at Toccoa Falls College, starting Monday, May 4th.
