The NCCAA named Caleigh Peddie the Division II Player of the Week. Peddie is the 1^st in BUF Volleyball history to win the award. The previous record for kills in a match was 11. She has eclipsed this number 4 times so far this season. On Friday August 28, Peddie recorded 17 kills, setting a new season high and the current NCCAA DII season high. Over the weekend she led the team with both 52 kills and 48 digs, Peddie is a junior from Bristol, FL. She started bumping the volleyball with her aunt at the age of 3. Her aunt was a high school coach and is the one who got her into the sport. As time went on, Peddie played rec ball and then played through middle and high school before going to a junior college. During her sophomore year she played against BUF, playing all 4 sets of that 4-set match and leading all players in aces. After the game she talked to Coach Franca. Peddie wanted to stay close after community college, and she decided to come BUF. Peddie speaks highly of Graceville and is making great memories on an off the court.
