This summer, Baptist University of Florida (BUF) invites aspiring basketball players of all ages and skill levels to join our dynamic Men's Basketball Camps! Led by Athletic Director and Head Coach Nate Hughes, these camps are designed to "disciple, develop, and display" the very best in each athlete, both on and off the court. Whether you're a young player just starting or a high school athlete aiming for college, BUF's camps offer a unique blend of high-level basketball training and Christ-centered mentorship.
Satellite Basketball Camps:

- Dates Available: June 6-7, 9-14, 16-21, 27-28; July 7-8, 10-12, 14-19, 21-26

- Details: We are excited to offer BUF Satellite Basketball Camps this summer! As a new college program, want to connect with you and your programs. Considering this, we have decided to offer satellite camps in lieu of hosting a team camp this summer. We want to bring the camp to you! We would love the opportunity to come to your school this summer to run a one-, two-, or three-day camp with your basketball athletes.
- Coaching Staff: BUF Coaching staff + BUF men's basketball players (if needed).
- Sessions are 1-3 Days with 2 sessions per day (approximately 2.5 hours each) of individual and/or team skills.
- Camps can be customized to meet your team's needs and goals.
- We will need to know what basketball equipment you have available (number of basketballs, goals, etc.)
- Meals for the coaches need to be provided by the host school.
- Hotel room or compensation for hotel room needs to be provided by the host school for camps where coaches must drive further than 100 miles (both ways).
- Gas money needs to be provided by the host school for camps where coaches must drive more than 30 miles (one way).

BUF Campus Summer Camps:
BUF MS Basketball Camp (MSBB): June 2-5, 2025
- For: Students entering grades 6-8.
- Focus: Fundamental skill development, high-repetition drills used in college programs, and competitive gameplay (3-on-3, 4-on-4, 5-on-5).
- Why Attend? This camp provides a solid foundation for young athletes, emphasizing technical skills and game strategy in a supportive environment.
- Cost: $200 (includes camp T-shirt and 4 lunches).
Mini Eagles Basketball Camp (MEBB): June 23-25, 2025
- For: Students in grades K-5.
- Focus: Basic basketball fundamentals, skills, footwork, and fun games.
- Why Attend? This camp introduces young players to the joy of basketball in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
- Cost:
- $75.00 per day (includes camp T-shirt).
- $175.00 for all three days (includes camp T-shirt).
BUF Men's Basketball Elite Camp I (MBBE1): June 26, 2025
BUF Men's Basketball Elite Camp II (MBBE2): July 9, 2025
- For: Athletes serious about developing their game.
- Focus: High-level on-court instruction, physical and mental challenges, and classroom sessions on elite performance.
- Why Attend? These camps offer intensive training for athletes aiming to reach their full potential, with direct instruction from BUF coaches and players.
- Cost: $125 (includes lunch and camp T-shirt), $200 for both elite camps.

At BUF, we believe in developing the whole athlete. Coach Nate Hughes and his staff are committed to "discipling" student-athletes, using basketball as a "vehicle to teach players how to work well with others, work towards common goals, celebrate successes, and learn from setbacks all while helping players to mature in their relationship with the Lord and with one another."
Camp Location and Details:
- All camps will be held at the Wellness Center (Eagle Gymnasium) on the BUF campus: 5400 College Drive, Graceville, FL 32440.
- Campers should bring athletic clothing, basketball shoes, and water bottles. Overnight campers, please refer to the website for a full packing list.
