Box Score Graceville, FL — On Monday night, January 26, the Eagles took the court at home for a rematch against Stillman College. Due to opponent forfeits of 2 games, this was the second regular-season meeting in 3 games between the two teams.
The game opened slowly, with the teams struggling to find rhythm. Four minutes in, the score was tied at 2–2, and after eight minutes Stillman held a narrow 6–5 lead. A pair of free throws from
Omari Henry made it 7–8 with 9:45 remaining in the first half. Stillman found its groove and closed the half on a strong run, heading into the locker room with a commanding 40–21 lead.
The Eagles struggled in the first half, shooting 21% from the field and 1-for-10 (10%) from three-point range. The lone three-pointer came from
Oliver Pratt.
The Eagles opened the second half with renewed energy. After Stillman missed its first shot,
Jordan Isaac grabbed the rebound and went coast-to-coast for a layup. With 16:24 remaining,
KJ Johnson jumped a passing lane and deflected the ball to
Joshua Good, who finished at the rim. Four minutes into the half, the Eagles had outscored them 8–5.
Johnson knocked down a three-pointer, assisted by Henry, to make Eagles open to the half an 11–7 4-point advantage five minutes into the half. A Henry floater cut the overall deficit to 14, with the Eagles up 13–7 in the half and 14:40 remaining. Pratt hit a three-pointer, followed by a steal and score on the next possession, trimming the lead to 13. He recorded another steal shortly after, but the Eagles were unable to capitalize further.
Despite the surge, Stillman reasserted control, extending the lead back to 20 with under five minutes left. The Eagles continued to fight, however, and with under a minute remaining, Isaac hit a three-pointer to cut the deficit to 13. That would be the final margin as the Eagles fell 82–69.
The Eagles performed much better in the second half, outscoring Stillman 48–42. They shot 55% from the field and connected on 5-of-13 three-pointers (35%).
Jordan Isaac led the way with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists.
Oliver Pratt also scored 16 points and added five steals, while
Omari Henry finished with 14 points.
