Box Score 4 Friday March 27, BUF played 2 games, the 1st against University of Fort Lauderdale and the 2nd against Trinity College of Jacksonville. On Saturday, they played a double header against TCJ.

Game 1
Harley Daniels started on the mound, and she was dominant, pitching the entire game and only giving up 5 hits. She also tied the team record, which she set earlier in the season, for strikeouts in a game. Through 4 innings, both teams were scoreless.
Olivia Spooner had a single and a double, but BUF had only recorded 3 hits; the other was a single by
Jacey Nelson.
Hannah Twitty singled to begin the bottom of the 5th.
Stefanie Donahey came in as a courtesy runner for Twitty. Donahey stole 2nd and then stole 3rd. With 2 outs, Spooner was intentionally walked, and Coach Albury made a move to pinch hit. Kaden Bailey delivered on the 2nd pitch as she hit one to right that scored Donahey, and the Lady Eagles went up 1-0. That would be the final, as no other runs were scored. The Lady Eagles secured the victory!
Lacey Goddin and
Janni Murray were the others with hits in the game for BUF.

Game 2
Now facing Trinity College of Jacksonville, TCJ scored 3 runs in the 1st 2 innings, and BUF did not score until the 6th. Singles from Goddin and
Elizabeth Hancock were the only 2 hits thus far. Nelson led off the top of the 6th with a single. With 1 out, Goddin hit one into right field scoring Nelson. Goddin then sped around the bases, headed for home, and scored for an inside-the-park homerun! Daniels, who was playing 1st base in this game, led off the 7th with a double, but despite out hitting TCJ 5-4, the Lady Eagles from BUF came up short.

Game 3
Harley Daniels got the start again for BUF and would again pitch a complete game, allowing just 3 hits and 0 earned runs. In the 2nd,
Jamie Jackson got BUF started with a double and then scored on an error. In the top of the 6th, tied 1-1, the visiting Eagles scored 3 runs. Goddin singled and then Murray did the same. Jackson came up with 2 on and 1 out; she hit a single bringing in Goddin. Bailey was up next, and she hit a double scoring Murray and Jackson for 2 RBIs. In the top of the 7th, Spooner singled and then stole 2nd. Goddin hit a single on a line drive to center to score Spooner. Goddin advanced to 2nd, and then Murray hit one to center that brought her in to score. BUF finished the last 2 innings 5-0 and won 6-1!

Game 4
The BUF bats remained hot. Spooner led off the game with a single, and then Goddin singled, moving her to 2nd, marking a 6-game hit streak for Goddin. Jackson was hit by a pitch to load the bases, and then Murray was plunked to bring in Spooner to score. In the 2nd, the Eagles from BUF kept it going, scoring 3 more runs.
Sarah Priester led off and was walked; Nelson came in to run and stole 2nd base. Spooner hit a line drive that scored Nelson, and then later Goddin reached 1st. With 2 on and 2 out, Jackson came to the plate, and on the 3rd pitch she hit a double to left field scoring both Spooner and Goddin for 2 RBI's and a 4-0 BUF lead. TCJ scored 2 in the bottom of the 3rd, but BUF responded immediately. Donahey walked to begin the 4th, and then Spooner followed. Goddin hit a single to load the bases. Jackson was now up; a failed stealing-home attempt opened 3rd base, but then Spooner stole 3rd soon after. Jackson hit one to center, and Spooner scored. Murray was up next, and she hit a single that scored Goddin to go up 6-2. In the 5th, the Eagles added to that as Donahey was walked and scored on a single by Spooner. In the top of the 6th, Jackson hit a single and then scored via a Daniels RBI, but the game tightened to 8-5 heading into the 7th inning. In the top of the 7th, Hancock led off with a walk, and then Donahey singled, moving Hancock to 2nd base. Goddin walked to load the bases, and now Jackson was up. She singled on a ground ball to center, and Donahey and Hancock each scored to make it 10-5, and Goddin later scored on an error to make it 11-5. In the bottom of the 7th, BUF allowed a run and then walked a batter, so Coach Albury made a move to switch Daniels from 1st base to pitcher. Daniels struck out the first batter, the next popped up, and the last batter struck out to secure the 11-6 win and sweep the day!
