BUF Athletics is pleased to introduce our new Head Golf Coach, Seth Stafford.

Stafford is from Dothan, Alabama, and is no stranger to the area. He has a deep connection to the community and a strong desire to impact people with the gospel. He has been married to his wife, Brittany Stafford, for 7 years. He shared, "I see this calling as a clear intersection of ability, affinity, and opportunity. God has given me a passion for both discipleship and golf, so when this opportunity came, it felt like those things aligned. Through both prayer and counsel, we sensed the Spirit leading us to this next step. It's a chance to invest in student-athletes and use both of those passions for Kingdom impact."

His vision for the golf program at BUF is to build a team that disciples athletes to pursue Christ while competing for championships. Athletic Director Nathaniels Hughes said, "From the beginning of the interview process, the Lord made it clear to us that Seth was the right person to lead our inaugural golf program at BUF. Seth's passion for student-athletes, the Lord, and the game of golf was evident in our conversations. He is committed to developing student-athletes on and off the course, and I know he will work tirelessly to build a program of excellence."
