Joplin, Missouri – On Wednesday, November 12^th Gabe Pearson left for Missouri with coaches Tim Wanamaker and Hannah Strickland to make the 13-hour drive to Joplin. On Thursday afternoon, Pearson participated in a service Project at "God's Resort" serving the community and bringing donations to the community center.  Also, on Thursday, Pearson and the coaches went to the venue to walk the course and prepare for the next day.

Friday, November 14^th Pearson competed in the 8k race against the nation's best NCCAA Division II cross country runners. He finished with a time of 32:29. Pearson holds the distinction as the first member of BUF athletics to race in the National tournament. Pearson, a junior, will compete next year!
