The BUF Athletic Department would like to recognize Nevaeh Peery.
Peery has lived in Florida all her life, attending high school in Bonifay, Florida. Earlier this year, she came to BUF for a tryout with Coach
Thais Franca and was later given the opportunity to play for the Baptist University of Florida volleyball team. To begin the season, Peery was used as a sporadic rotational player before a switch was made in the Coastal Alabama game to try her as the full-time setter. She ran with the opportunity. In that 5-set match, she had 59 assists, setting the season-long record for NCCAA Division II and eclipsing the previous record holder by 19 assists. She has accumulated numerous individual records for a single game and season-long.
She is also in the top 10 four other times for most assists in 3-set matches (31 vs Trinity Fl on 9/18/25, 29 vs Crowleys Ridge on 10/3/25, 28 vs PCC on 10/9/25, and 25 vs Middle Georgia State on 9/20/25). In addition to the assist numbers, she is tied for 3
rd with the most service aces in a 3-set match (5 vs Trinity Jacksonville on 10/4/25). As a true freshman, Peery has established herself as an up-and-coming star for the Eagles.
